Men do not enter Daystar
expecting to continue a job that they have already started. The first
three weeks, at least are spent in therapy, appointments, and getting
established in the Daystar Program.

Jobs for second and third shift, and
weekend jobs are not permitted since they interfere with therapy and the
program at Daystar. All jobs must be worked around the Daystar schedule.
Flexibility comes only as a reward to those in the latter part of the
third or fourth phases that do not have a record of misconduct.
-
Spirituality vitality is important and each man
must be working on a spiritual goal and attending a spiritual or
religious place of worship weekly. This does not include AA or NA,which
clients attend as part of our recovery program. The
spiritual choice must be positive and in harmony with Daystar
principals.
